Wired Tail

Having played around with my bird silhouette, i decided to make a small wire sculpture of the birds tail with the idea to make it on a much larger scale. And perhaps i'll make the top half of the bird too........

These are just some some pics i took to get me thinking about how, no matter what humanity does to maintain its urban enviroment nature will always sneak back in. Ideas are forming..... Back soon with more..

I plan to paint this one as i find the composition interesting.

Bird on the wired

I took this photo and completed a slightly stylised acrylic painting based on the image. From looking at this i found myself endeared by the silhouette. So, from another photo i drew out a bird form which i then blew up and made a 2 piece cardboard cut-out, which i proceded to place around the city where ever i found a suitable straight line. This was to see how the bird looked in surroundings you would not normally find a bird in. (and to have a little bit of fun)
